Summary

0001982: Inconsequent behaviour when deleting or modifying repeating events

Description

When deleting or modifying the first event of a series of repeating events, the user is asked if he wants to modify or delete all of the events in this series or not.

When modifying an event in a series of events other than the first event in this series, the user is asked if he wants to modify the whole series of events, modify only the selected event or modify nothing.

When deleting an event in a series of events other than the first event in this series, the user is asked if he wants to delete the whole series of events, delete this and all following events, delete only the selected event or delete nothing.

In my opinion, the user always should have the choice to delete/modify only the selected event, delete/modify the selected and all following events, delete/modify the whole series of events or to abort the action, no matter if he selects the first or any other event in a series of events.
