Tine 2.0org is an open source project of Metaways Infosystems GmbH. Metaways understands that it is part of the community, and it supports the project with resources so that this can be constantly improved and developed further.
In addition to these, a wide range of active community members already belong to the fixed core of the team, and Tine 2.0org has them to thank for a large number of individual and high-quality steps in its development.
Lars Kneschke is a veteran of open source groupware development. Since 2000 he took part in the development of several open source groupware projects, until he and Cornelius founded the Tine 2.0 project at Metaways in 2007. Since then Lars is in charge of the open source project Tine 2.0 at Metaways as product manager and is responsible for R&D, a position that keeps him up to date with the most recent internet technologies. In 2011 he initiated Syncotron, another open source project, which constantly rises in profile.
Cornelius Weiss studied physics and computer science with a specialization on quantum computers at the University Siegen. During his studies he participated on diverse PHP open source projects with a focus on clean conception and code quality.
Cornelius has been part of Metaways Infosystems GmbH in Hamburg since 2008. He is development manager in the software sector as well as head of development of Tine 2.0.
Philipp Schüle studied computer sciences at the UAS in Darmstadt. Since March 2008 he supports the core development team of Tine 2.0 at Metaways. As lead developer he is in charge of several customer projects and in-house developments concerning the groupware as well as the community liaison and support. Many of you will know him as the spokesperson of the forum.
