asterisk and incoming calls

hey tine2.0 team,

i have been keeping an eye of tine2.0 from the beginnig, and it seems to get a very interesting product, if you will continue your work with this ideas and motivation, especially your decissions to integrate z-push and asterisk: very good work so far, keep going on!

but now to my question: as you have integrated asterisk for outbound calls and managing the server, what about an incoming call feature? - so, if someone calls, a pop up informs me about this with the caller's profile in tine2.0 (perhaps with a nice google maps integration? ^^), and also with the possibility to put this call and my notes in the customer's journal in tine2.0, or offers me to create a new contact, if doesn't exist already. perhaps even, if i wouldn't be online at this time, so i could see my missed calls in tine2.0, when i login the next time.
i think such a feature would complete your asterisk integration and brings it to perfection.

That's our intention. We just need to solve some basic technical problems, but that's definitively the goal we like to reach. If everything goes well, you will get a popup window for incoming phone calls and also an immediately updating calendar.

I'm pretty sure that you can see first results in our next stable release, scheduled by the end of June.

I've just stumbled upon Tine 2.0 and I have to see, it looks great!

Although this is an old thread, I just wanted to ask where the incoming calls feature mentioned above, is at? (as I'm also building Asterisk based PBX's and think incoming call pop-ups would be GREAT!) I really think that level of integration would turn some heads.

If it would help, there's a module for SugarCRM that apparently creates pop-ups on incoming calls. I'm a new user so it doesn't want me to post the URL in my first ever post.

It's on github, so at the end of the the base URL, add blak3r/yaai
