file manager mount filesystem

Postby art » Wed Mar 14, 2012 4:24 am

Is there an option to mount a real filesystem (folder remote or local) in file manager. Basically, I would like to be able to access files/folders through Tine as well as other ways nfs, Samba, ftp etc?

Thanks,

we already thought about that, it would be cool to be able to switch to other file backends. but this is a feature that requires lots of changes in our file system classes. so this is nothing that will happen in the near future ...

i think i created a report for that as well.

i like the architekture, the TYPO3 guys used in FAL.

Have an abstraction layer and then map any location to the virtuel filesystem in tine20.org ;)
