How to convert a lead into a sale?

Hello and thanks for this nice project.

I like very much the ease of use, intuitiveness, and that is not bloated. I am testing the demo before install it in my shared hosting account, but I am not able to find a way to convert a lead into a sale.

I mean, when I edit a lead in the CRM tab, and I change the Leadstate field to accepted, it do not shows in the sales tab. Also I noticed that I can not or do not know how to attach a product to a lead, so when the lead sale is done, it should shows the lead sale in the sales tab and a graph with the sold products, amount sold, all sorted by month or year or by product, with totals.

I do not know If I explain myself.

Any link to a manual or more detailed docummentation is very much appreciated.

this is not yet implemented. for us, an accepted lead is equivalent to a sale. but it does not appear in the Sales application. please add a feature request to our bugtracker if this is important for you.

Well, I do not know about others, but for me it is important not to make unnecessary input work, so if I got a lead accepted it is because the product/service was purchased and I would like to see it reflected in the sales.

Metrics for me are very important, so I can measure my progress in time, not only in terms of Leads but most important in terms of true performance, that is reflected in sales completed.

I will add a feature request pointing to this post.

By the way, do you have and idea of how long it will take to have this feature available?

uh, this is not easy to say as this feature is not on our roadmap for the next release. but you can always speed up the development if you sponsor the development of the feature.

It is good to know it. I have a customer that is also a friend, and he want me to suggest an easy to use CRM. This is not my area, I only install websites, but I have found Tine 2.0 and I like it. I will install it in his website account, so he can test if he like it and if he needs a special feature, he can speed the development sponsoring the feature.

One last question, I see Softaculous in my web server and I would like to know
1.- If it is fine to install Tine 2.0 using Softaculous?
2.- Is Softaculous updated with the last Tine 2.0 stable release?

Softaculous did not work for me, it gave an error. I downloaded from here and I installed manually and it worked.
