Activesync with deep imap folders tree problem

Postby xray » Thu Sep 27, 2012 9:22 am

Hello!

I found, that when email is synced via ActiveSync to device - there is no subfolders synced, unless they are viewed by web-interface.

I.g. when you have such tree:

INBOX
--folder1
----subfolder1
----subfolder2
--folder2
----subfolder2
----subfolder3
--folder3

you will no see any subfolder via activesync unless you view it in web-interface.

It's tested to happen in both - stable and development releases.

I've seen this with a Windows Phone 7.5 device and Tine20 version Milan 2012.03.06 but couldn't yet reproduce this.

Maybe this is related to 0006550: changed folder names do not sync to device?

Hmm. It reproduces every time i have deal with Tine20.
My testing tree consists of 15 folders and 10 subfolders in each folder with lot amount of email in each subfolder - may be amount of folders is the key.
I testing it on iPad1 device. Folders aren't renamed at all.
