Hamburg - October the 30th, 2008 The full IT service provider Metaways Infosystems GmbH from Hamburg (Germany) releases the first version of the new groupware solution Tine 2.0. Tine 2.0 was started by former eGroupWare core developers and will be available for downloading on the 30th of October with all implemented features. As a browser based online solution, Tine 2.0 leads to more efficient business organization and communication in enterprises of all sizes.
Besides the groupware functionalities, Tine 2.0 features a full-fledged customer relationship module (CRM). Thus Tine 2.0 optimizes not only the contacts and tasks, but the sales activities as well. In the Addressbook module you are able to take care of all customers, partners and coworkers in a transparent and clearly arranged manner.
The telephone integration (represented by the Voipmanager and Phone modules) and automatic notifications enhance the communication with customers. Projects and tasks of coworkers can easily be taken care of by means of the Tasks module. To increase the efficiency, it is possible to change the access rights for tasks depending on priority or department.
The CRM module combines all necessary information for the sales department. The user is able to observe the sales and customer activities with all product, contact and task data at any time.
Tine 2.0 guaranties that all employees receive transparent and efficient access to all information and resources necessary in order to save time and to be more productive.
Tine 2.0 impresses by means of its usability and intuitive look and feel. The user interface has MS Windows like controls, buttons and select boxes to make sure that the user feels at home after a very short learning period, and allows him to forget that Tine 2.0 is a web-based tool. Furthermore, the user has the possibility to customize the user interface even more, and therefore deal with complex operations using just a few clicks.
In the near future, Tine 2.0 will be extended by an Enterprise Resource Planning module (ERP), time sheets and project management features. After that a calendar and email client will be added.
