What is Tine 2.0?

Tine 2.0 is web-based open source groupware under AGPL open source licence version 3. Everyone can install, use and extend Tine 2.0 free of charge.
Tine 2.0 simplifies group collaboration and optimises the execution of business processes. The most important properties of this groupware are the extraordinarily high level of user friendliness, development according to professional criteria and the flexibility with which Tine 2.0 can be adapted to individual needs.

Tine 2.0 – Everything within reach in just one interface
Tine 2.0 bundles all significant functions under one unified interface for efficient collaboration and execution of business processes. Whether it be companies, public institutions, associations or private individuals: Tine 2.0 simplifies the internal coordination and administration of tasks, dates, contacts and resources. Tine 2.0 makes it possible not only to edit task jointly, but also to pass them on for invoicing via time recording. There is although an integrated customer relationship management system.
Tine 2.0 has no language barriers and is available in over thirteen languages for organisations operating internationally. Working in various time zones is also supported.

Tine 2.0 – Mobile, simple and flexible
Tine 2.0 is web-based and functions with any operating system independently of time and location. Tine 2.0 is fully useable from any current web-browser – this is made possible by flexible server-client architecture with open API’s.
Every employee can access Tine 2.0 from any given Internet access point. This makes extensive software installation and configuration on the users’ computers a thing of the past. For example, external workers or suppliers can be integrated into internal processes without problems or expenditures. Elaborate authorisation administration guaranties that each user receives only those data which are necessary for his or her task.
